John's world is black and white. He has no gray areas. And I'm not referring to colors. When we are in the car and stop at a stop sign, Kate will ask, "left, right or straight?" I will answer and if Kate asks again, John will start yelling at her because, of course, she should have heard the answer the first time. Black and white.
Last night John was playing on the computer before bedtime. When The Dad told him it was time to go to bed, he did his big freak out. He started kicking and throwing a fit. Unfortunately for him, he kicked the power button on the computer and the screen went blank! He got up and bolted to his room as fast as he could. He thought he was IN trouble for breaking the computer. (Of course, to him, the screen going blank means the computer's broken.) The Dad told me what had happened so I went to talk to John about it. I asked him if the computer was broken and he said yes. I then asked him how it got broken. He said he kicked it. He just doesn't understand simple things like the power button on the computer.
I guess we'd be in trouble if he didn't understand the light switch!!

Hi Friend. I've been secretly stalking your blog since I recently found an old Christmas card you sent you sent me and it had the blog address. Anyway, I don't have a good email address for you anymore and I sent you something in the mail and don't know if you ever got it. Did you get the DVD of our cruise I sent? I just started my own blog if you'd like to read it.
