My little mischief maker

I spend a lot of time laying down lately. My options are, lay down or throw up so I choose to lay down. Unfortunately, bad things can happen while I am laying down:

I was laying down in my bed and I heard the door to the garage open and close. I thought that was really odd but I didn't worry about it. A few minutes later Kate came into my bedroom and said she couldn't find Daddy and she broke these. In her hands she held my glasses - in two pieces. I figured she wanted to find The Dad so he could fix them. I was very mad and told her she needed to tell me she was sorry and then go to her room. She did and was crying the whole time. I felt bad sending her to her room because I knew she felt bad before she even told me. I got up after 10 minutes just to made sure Kate was ok. She was no longer in her bedroom and had a very messy face. I asked her was she was eating but she didn't answer. I had a candy dish in the living room that we received about a week ago but no one had touched it. The mess on her face looked like chocolate so I figured that's what she got into. Sure enough, in the candy dish there were 3 empty Hershey Kisses wrappers and a half eaten sucker (at least she didn't throw the garbage on the floor). My theory is that she needed some consolation and and found it in candy. Looks like we've got another emotional eater in our house!! Oh No!!

* Kate broke one of the temples (arms) off and she bent it enough that it won't be an easy fix. I have to wear my glasses to see and until my new pair arrives I will be wearing the broken ones. So, if you see me and my glasses look a little lopsided or I keep adjusting them it's because they are missing an important component.
