Sick baby, Za Nee, and A Be Do

We have a sick baby at our house. Just a virus, but an ornery baby. She loves her dad and really doesn't want anything to do with me when he is around especially now that she is sick.

She also loves her Za Nee, aka her blanket or blankets. I try to limit the amount of blankets she has out to 3 however one day it was 7 and every time she wanted to be picked up all of the blankets came too. If anyone gets near her blankets or heaven forbid sits on them she freaks out . . . especially the dog. She will tell him NO and STOP!

She has also come up with a word that I don't know how to define and she says it all the time. "A Be Do." It might be pick me up although she says up all the time so I don't know. Sometimes she gets very upset at us if we don't respond. She was sitting on the counter and her dad walked away from her. "A Be Do, A Be Do." She actually let me pick her up but my joy was only short lived as she motioned for her dad. I was only the delivery person.

Haha! Oh the life of a mom! Such joys and such challenges that just never seem to end! We really need to come visit again! I can't believe she is talking. We haven't even seen her since she has been walking!
