Tomorrow I am having a friend birthday party for him. Well, actually I think it's more for me than for him. I, once again, want to see how he responds. Hopefully all will go well.

John's 5th Birthday!!!
Today is John's Birthday and for the first time I think he might get it. He recently started telling me he was 4 years old when I would ask, so he is now confused about his age. Hey, for him to even respond to the question, "How old are you?" is amazing. I gave him a present this afternoon just to see how he would respond. He was excited and played with the dollar store car and airplane and actually was possessive with them when Scott got home from school. YEA!!! I never thought I would be excited for my kids to fight about toys.

How exciting!! He is doing so good! I wish I would've remember that his birthday was today when we were there yesterday! Darn it! Well, wish him a happy birthday from us!
