Today at about 5:00 it hit me. I was tired, really tired, so tired I thought I might fall asleep reading Scott a book tired, so tired that if I had to drive I would be a danger to others on the road tired.
At 5:18 I sent Scott downstairs to play with John and Kate hoping I would be able to rest for at least 15 minutes before I made dinner. Yea right.
At 5:25 I woke up. Kate needed something and the amazing thing was I felt refreshed, like I had a really good nap. I, of course, tried to sleep for another 30 minutes but I couldn't, too many interruptions.
It's good to know that 7 minutes really can make a difference, however, even with this knowledge, the self indulgent 2 hour naps that I take on occasion are still going to happen.
Why settle for 7 minutes when you can have 120.
