I take my chances

I really do, every day, whenever I take John out of the house. Today we went to the grocery store. While we were walking the aisles, I looked at his face. The look I saw wasn't one a mother wants to see. Instantly, I knew I had a problem, a big problem. He had pooed in his underwear!! I don't carry around extra clothes for him because I always make sure he goes potty before we go ANYWHERE. Unfortunately, his bowels are very unpredictable. I have been giving him extra laxative which made my panic even worse.

I thought about just taking him home but I didn't want him to sit down. So, we went to the bathroom and just as we reached the door, he fell down . . . and sat down. Great!!! We made it into a bathroom stall and he started talking about the poo.

John: Are you going to put it in the potty?

Me: Yes.

John: It's gross.

Me: Yes it is!

I carefully picked up the poo with PLENTY of toilet paper and cleaned him up the best I could. I flushed, and what do you know, the plethora of toilet paper clogged the toilet.

I took my chances and lost. Unfortunately, I'm sure I'll take my chances again . . . and lose . . . again.
