She's back

Last night we ended up taking Kate to the hospital for rehydration. She hadn't had a wet diaper for 12 hours and so it was time.

While we were there she asked for a banana. I ran and got her one and she ate half and then she held on to the other half like it was her best friend. She held on to it while they were putting the IV in and she held on to it while she was sleeping. There were several times while she was sleeping that we tried to take it away and of course she would wake up.

Today she is better. How can I tell? She is very feisty and as soon I as got her up she started jabbering and then said RIGHT NOW. She definitely knows what she wants.
